Supporters – The Employability Trust

The Employability Trust Supporters…

Supporters of The Employability Trust come in many different forms.
Each supporter is vital to our ongoing success in different ways and it is only by working together that we have been able to grow and develop and to help so many people to fulfil their potential.

The majority of our supporters are business partners.
A large part of our income is earned through commercial contracts with local and national organisations. These contracts not only provide financial support but they also provide the means to deliver vital practical work experience and ongoing learning and development for our Destination Employment candidates. Check out our ‘about us’ page for more information on how we can help you and your organisation. Further information can also be found on our commercial page http://uk.solutions/

You can get involved with The Employability Trust as a trustee. Do you have a particular skill? Experience in a certain area? Do you have a little time to spare each month to pass on your knowledge and help the Trust to grow and thrive? We are particularly looking for people with experience in the charitable sector.

As a charity we also value and appreciate donations of any form.
Donations could be monetary, with the funds used to support our programmes and provide candidate support. You may also wish to donate goods, tools or equipment that could enable our ongoing work or expand our offering. Alternatively you could simply donate your time. Would you like to mentor our candidates? Do you have a particular skill that you would like to pass on? Can you help with one of our commercial programmes?

Any help or support is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Our Trustees

Mrs Sally Waterston
Founder, Waterstons Ltd

I was honoured when Bill Marley asked me to become a trustee of the Trust. I recognised the amazing work which was being done, both for the long-term unemployed and for the businesses which they serve. The Trust is a pretty joyful place- it is full of positivity and kindness, while at the same time keeping its professionalism and high standards. The people who work in the Trust are accepted, not judged. Bill Marley and his team see past any problems to allow the true potential to emerge.

Mr Denis Ford
International Sourcing Leader EMEA & APAC, Cummins Ltd

The Employability Trust is a great organisation that I am proud to be a part of. It gives opportunities and hope to members of our community that may have been unemployed for some time. This work is pivotal to increasing individual education, employability and self- worth and doesn’t take up government resources as it is a unique model funded by industry.
The dedication, integrity and commitment of The Employability Trust team is second to none and that is why it is so successful.

Mr Tony Wilson
Managing Director, Spennymoor Town Football Club

I have known Bill Marley for many years and when he asked me to bring my extensive knowledge of manufacturing and my many years of experience of large enterprise organisations to support the Trust I was delighted to help. His enthusiasm is infectious and I am always there for him at any time.

Mrs Meryl Levington
Associate Dean Enterprise & Business Engagement, Teesside University

I have been a supporter of the Trust from the very beginning. I knew that Bill’s enthusiasm and passion would win through and indeed the Trust and its disruptive model have proved to be wonderfully successful. I have a good deal of experience in social enterprise and have been very happy to support and advise the Trust throughout my years of involvement.
